Mike Glennon officially named Bears' starting quarterback
Chicago Bears quarterback Mike Glennon has been officially named the team's starting quarterback for Week 1.
Head coach John Fox confirmed the news on Monday despite not naming who Glennon's backup would be versus the Atlanta Falcons, Mark Sanchez or Mitchell Trubisky. Glennon was the favorite to start since signing a 3-year contract with $16 million guaranteed for 2017.
numberFire's algorithms see Glennon scoring 14.6 FanDuel points versus the Falcons, making him our 2nd-best quarterback for Week 1 while costing $6,700.
