Eagles' Wendell Smallwood (knee) does not practice on Wednesday
Philadelphia Eagles running back Wendell Smallwood (knee) did not participate in practice on Wednesday.
This is the first mention of any injury for Smallwood, who had his normal workload in Week 4. For now it shouldn't be considered serious, but it's something to keep an eye on this week. Should Smallwood need to sit out, it would mean more snaps to divvy up between LeGarrette Blount, Corey Clement, and possibly even Kenjon Barner.
Assuming health, our models rank Smallwood as the RB23, projecting him for 38.2 yards and 0.2 touchdowns on 9.4 carries, plus 2.8 receptions for 22.7 yards. That would amount to 8.9 fantasy points on FanDuel at his $5,900 salary.
