Vikings' Teddy Bridgewater 'very confident' in knee
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater said that he's "very confident" in his surgically repaired knee following another practice session on Thursday.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Bridgewater, in addressing the media, said "Didn't feel rusty at all" and "I definitely believe I'll play this year." He added that he can't say whether he definitely will or not because he needs to prove to everyone that he's able to play. Part of that could be the presence of Case Keenum as a capable backup to Sam Bradford.
Bridgewater last played in 2015-16, when he threw for 3,231 yards and 14 touchdowns while rushing for 192 more yards and 3 scores in 16 games.
