Browns to start DeShone Kizer in Week 8

Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson has named DeShone Kizer the team's starting quarterback for Week 8 against the Minnesota Vikings.

What It Means:

After being benched for the second time this season, Kizer's status as the team's starter was in question following the team's seventh loss of the season on Sunday. He has had issues with turnovers, including two interceptions in a loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 7. But Jackson doesn't like what he's seen from Cody Kessler or Kevin Hogan, so the Browns will send Kizer back out to face a tough Vikings defense on Sunday morning in London.

The Browns-Vikings game won't be on the main slate, but if you're playing one including the London game we have Kizer projected for 177.0 passing yards, 0.84 touchdowns and 12.2 FanDuel points at $6,100. As for the Vikings' defense, our models like them (at $5,300) to tally 10.5 FanDuel points against a shaky rookie signal caller.
