Rod Smith the only Cowboy to find the end zone in Thursday's Thanksgiving thrashing
Dallas Cowboys running back Rod Smith ran the ball 9 times for 41 yards and 1 touchdown, adding 2 receptions for 7 yards in Thursday's 28-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Smith actually out-touched Cowboys' lead back Alfred Morris 11-10 in this one, though that was likely more about game-script than Smith jumping past Morris on the depth chart. Darren McFadden was a healthy scratch in this one though, and Smith remains the clear-cut number-two back in Dallas until Ezekiel Elliott returns.
In 3 games since Zeke's suspension, Smith has averaged 6.7 carries for 22.0 yards and 2.0 receptions for 7.3 yards, scoring 1 touchdown in that stretch.
