Broncos' Trevor Siemian (shoulder) to undergo surgery on Wednesday
Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian is set to undergo surgery on his left shoulder, reports 9News Mike Klis.
Siemian suffered the injury in Week 15. It's actually the same shoulder he had surgery on last year, but it's just a different injury. His injury has been labeled a "damaged posterior capsule." Even if he returns healthy, Siemian's not likely to compete for a starting job in the final year of his rookie deal. Denver could select a quarterback in the draft, which will only complicate things more with Paxton Lynch and Brock Osweiler in place.
In 11 games and 10 starts, Siemian threw for 2,285 yards, 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He added one rushing touchdown while completing only 59% of his pass attempts.
