Marcus Mariota accounts for 3 touchdowns, Titans shock Chiefs in comeback
Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 19-of-31 passes for 205 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception, with 46 rushing yards and a six-yard touchdown catch, in Saturday's 22-21, Wild Card win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
After a brutal start, the Titans' offense found their groove late in the first half and carried it into the second as they managed to come back from a 21-3 deficit. The touchdown reception came on a miraculous play where Darrelle Revis deflected the ball back to Mariota, who had enough awareness to snag the ball and score. He would then connect with Eric Decker down the seam for a 22-yard touchdown that put the Titans ahead for good. Next up will be a road date with either the New England Patriots or Pittsburgh Steelers.
Mariota scored 26.9 FanDuel points in the Wild Card Round.
