Steelers' Ryan Shazier (back) discharged from hospital
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier was discharged on Thursday from the Rehabilitation Unit at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Shazier announced the news on social media. A picture also surfaced of him standing beside quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, while sporting a brace on his left leg. He will continue to do outpatient therapy at UPMC, but it's another step in his recovery from back stabilization surgery in December.
In his last 3 seasons, Shazier has made at least 62 tackles from his inside linebacker spot.
