Vikings lead Kirk Cousins' free agency wishlist
The Minnesota Vikings are "number one with a bullet" on Washington quarterback Kirk Cousins' free agency wish list, Paul Allen of KFAN Minneapolis reports.
What It Means:
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer agrees, saying a "prime location" for Cousins awaits in the Vikings. The Vikings' receiving duo of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, as well as a revitalized offensive line, make it an attractive landing spot for a passer. Cousins reportedly has a desire to "win right away," another factor that would make the NFC runners-up an appealing destination.
Cousins turned in the 20th-most Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back among the 35 quarterbacks to top 200 drop backs in 2017. His 0.06 Passing NEP per drop back was the lowest mark of his career since 2013.
