Giants' Eli Apple expected to be traded this offseason
ESPN's Jordan Raanan believes that the New York Giants will trade cornerback Eli Apple this offseason.
In discussing the Giants' cut candidates, Raanan predicted that Apple would be traded. He might not return the first-round pick he was in 2016, but with his talent, and at 22 years old, he should bring back a mid-round pick. After a season filled with controversy, it wouldn't be surprising to see the two parties part ways.
Ranked as Pro Football Focus' 71st-ranked corner, Apple finished 2017 with 41 tackles and 8 passes defensed in 11 games.
