Browns' Joe Thomas hopes to have decision on status prior to free agency
Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas said that he hopes to have a decision on his playing status by the start of free agency.
Free agency starts on March 14th, and the Browns could be very active with as much cap space as anyone this offseason. Thomas is weighing retirement and his decision could be key to the Browns' problem areas. The 6-time All-Pro has one year and $10.3 million left on his contract.
According to Pro Football Focus, Thomas was the 4th-best tackle in all of football this season.
