Colts, Adam Vinatieri 'closing in' on one-year deal
Indianapolis Colts and kicker Adam Vinatieri are reportedly "closing in" on a one-year deal, according to WTHR's Bob Kravitz.
The deal is expected to be finalized tomorrow, and it doesn't come as much of a shocker. Vinatieri has said he would kick in 2018 and that he'd like to remain in Indianapolis. The 45-year-old will play his 13th season for the Colts.
In his time with the Colts, Vinatieri has converted 86.5% of his attempts, including 31-of-44 from 50-plus yards.
