Paxton Lynch expected to remain with Broncos for 2018 season
Denver Broncos quarterback Paxton Lynch is expected to remain with the team for the 2018 season, according to general manager John Elway.
While the team is rumored to be one of the four finalists for Kirk Cousins and could be in the market for Case Keenum or Sam Bradford if they miss on Cousins, it appears Denver is locked in on keeping Lynch around for at least one more season. The 2016 first-round pick is expected to back up whomever the team brings in off the free agent wire (or draft) while Trevor Simian's days seem to be numbered.
Lynch has a 61.7% completion percentage with 4 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, and 792 passing yards in 128 pass attempts over the last 2 seasons.
