Giants acquire Alec Ogletree from Rams
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the New York Giants are acquiring linebacker Alec Ogletree from the Los Angeles Rams.
Schefter reports that the Giants are trading their fourth- and sixth round picks for Ogletree and the Rams' 2019 seventh-round selection. Ogletree was no longer a fit for the team's defense, and the Giants get the 26-year-old, along with the four-year deal he signed in October.
In his fifth NFL season, Ogletree accounted for 63 tackles, 2 sacks, 10 pass breakups and 1 interception this past year.
