Case Keenum, Broncos reportedly agree to 2-year, $36 million deal
The Denver Broncos signed quarterback Case Keenum, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, to a 2-year, $36 million contract, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Keenum shares history with Broncos senior personnel advisor Gary Kubiak from their time together with the Houston Texans and as of now, he's the heavy favorite to start under center in Week 1. Despite the signing, don't be surprised if Denver decides to draft a quarterback in the early rounds, perhaps as high as the 5th overall pick.
Keenum averaged 16.0 FanDuel points in 15 games (14 starts) for the Vikings last season, with 3,547 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions. He also rushed for 160 yards and added a score on the ground.
