Browns agree to deal with tight end Darren Fells
The Cleveland Browns and tight end Darren Fells have agreed to a three-year deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
At 31, Fells is another veteran presence and one that should help out more in the running game than the passing game. He's a big blocking end and will serve as a complement to David Njoku's youth and athleticism. He'll get $12 over the duration of his contract.
Last year, Fells played in all 16 of the Lions' games, catching 17-of-26 targets for 177 yards and 3 touchdowns.
