Dolphins expected to grant Mike Pouncey his release
Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey requested his release and it's expected to be granted on Thursday, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Dolphins are cutting costs and headed toward a rebuild, so it's understandable that Pouncey wanted out. He joins Ndamukong Suh and Jarvis Landry as offseason departures from Miami. There should be a number of teams looking to bring on the 28-year-old center.
Pouncey, a three-time Pro Bowler, rated out as Pro Football Focus' 27th-best center in 2017.
