Tyler Eifert staying with Bengals for at least one more season
The Cincinnati Bengals re-signed tight end Tyler Eifert to a one-year contract.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the deal carries a maximum value of $8 million. Eifert has played in just 10 games over the past two seasons due to lingering back issues, but the veteran tight end says he's back to full health heading into what will be his age-28 campaign.
Eifert led all tight ends and was tied for 4th in the league with 13 touchdowns in 2015, while also hauling in 52 catches (74 targets) for 615 receiving yards.
