Raiders release tight end Clive Walford
The Oakland Raiders released tight end Clive Walford.
Mostly due to a 2016 ATV accident, Walford failed to live up to expectations after being selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He fell to third on the depth chart in Oakland last season and wound up being placed on injured reserve with a concussion. Walford is still just 26 and should get another opportunity elsewhere.
Walford averaged 2.1 FanDuel points in 13 games last season, with 9 receptions (13 targets) for 80 scoreless yards.
