Willie Snead signs with Ravens after Saints decline to match offer sheet
The Baltimore Ravens have signed wide receiver Willie Snead, formerly of the New Orleans Saints, to a two-year, $7 million contract.
The deal includes a $2 million signing bonus, and after a year of injury and inconsistency for the Saints, they decided to let the former Ball State Cardinal walk. Snead will join Michael Crabtree in the new-look Ravens receiving core. Snead's signing probably means the Ravens are out on pursuing recently-released receiver Dez Bryant.
Snead had career-lows in every category in 2017, catching just 8-of-16 targets for 80 yards across 7 starts and 11 games played.
