Atlanta Falcons draft WR Calvin Ridley with the 26th pick
The Atlanta Falcons drafted Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley with the 26th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Ridley joins fellow former Crimson Tide receiver Julio Jones in Atlanta. The Falcons were in need of immediate depth at wide receiver after losing Taylor Gabriel to free agency, and they get that in Ridley. Currently, Jones and Mohammed Sanu top the depth chart with Ridley the team's number three wideout for 2018.
In three seasons as Alabama's top receiver, Ridley averaged 74.7 catches, 927 yards, and 6.3 touchdowns per season.
