San Francisco 49ers move up in second round to draft WR Dante Pettis
The San Francisco 49ers traded the 59th and 7th picks in the 2018 NFL Draft to the Washington Redskins in exchange for the 44th, which they used on Washington Huskies wide receiver Dante Pettis, and 142nd pick.
While Pettis looks slated to be at best the third wideout in San Francisco in 2018, he can provide immediate value as a punt returner in the NFL. An exceptional athlete, Pettis averaged 20.4 yards per return his senior season while reaching the end zone 4 times.
Pettis averaged 58.0 catches, 791.5 yards, and 11.0 touchdowns in his final 2 seasons at Washington.
