Denver Broncos use a third-round pick on Oregon RB Royce Freeman
The Denver Broncos have drafted Oregon Ducks running back Royce Freeman with the 71st pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.
The Ducks all-time leading rusher, Freeman will get a shot at a decent workload his rookie season as the starting job is wide open after the release of C.J. Anderson this offseason. Even if Devonte Booker holds onto the number one spot on the depth chart, Freeman showed he was a capable passing down back, grabbing 79 catches for 814 yards in his career at Oregon.
Freeman finished his Duck career with 6,435 total yards with 64 touchdowns in 4 seasons.
