Eagles' Timmy Jernigan (back) expected to miss 4-6 months, questionable for Week 1
Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Timmy Jernigan is questionable to be ready for Week 1 of the 2018 season.
Jernigan underwent surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back and was given a timeline of 4-to-6 months for recovery. He will definitely miss the offseason program and could get off to a slow star this season. The 25-year-old defensive tackle signed a four-year extension in November.
This past season, Jernigan totaled 16 tackles and 3 sacks, ranking 35th among all defensive lineman.
