Eagles sign second-rounder Dallas Goedert to four-year deal
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed second-round draft pick and tight end Dallas Goedert to a four-year deal.
Goedert should take on a substantial role in the Eagles' tight end heavy offense. At 24, he has experience and his 6'4" frame makes for a nice red-zone target. He'll take over the Trey Burton role alongside Zach Ertz, and he could get some time in the slot.
In his senior year at South Dakota State, Goedert totaled 72 catches, 1,111 yards and 7 touchdowns. He posted 92 catches, 1,293 yards and 11 scores in the year prior.
