Eagles' Corey Clement wants more touches in 2018

Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement wants "more touches, more carries, more catches out of the backfield this year."

What It Means:

Clement has been a great find as an undrafted free agent, and arguably his biggest game of the season was the Super Bowl win. Despite averaging just 4.2 carries per game, Clement was featured more in the pass game. It's unclear how the Eagles will split up work in 2018, especially with the return of Darren Sproles, but Clement is expected to be Jay Ajayi's primary backup.

Among the 72 running backs to carry the ball at least 50 times last season, Clement's 0.11 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per attempt was sixth-best. Among these same players, Clement's 0.87 Reception NEP per target was third-best.
