Free agent running back Terrance West will visit the New Orleans Saints on Wednesday, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
What It Means:
West joins Jamaal Charles in a workout with New Orleans on Wednesday, who appears to be looking for a veteran back to help lighten the load of Alvin Kamara while Mark Ingram is suspended for the first four games of the season. The former Baltimore Raven back already visited the Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Philadelphia Eagles this offseason.
West played in just 5 games in 2017, rushing for 138 yards and 2 scores while adding 2 catches for 23 yards for the Ravens.
