Panthers' first-round wideout D.J. Moore 'more than ready to contribute'
Carolina Panthers first-round wide receiver D.J. Moore is "more than ready to contribute," writes Max Henson of the Panthers' official website.
Moore is known for what he can do after the catch, so it's no surprise that team writer Henson says the 24th overall pick looked "smooth" and "can really run" during an impressive minicamp showing. The Maryland product is expected to open the year as a starter opposite Devin Funchess.
numberFire's early models project Moore to catch 44.0 passes (72.5) targets for 556.8 yards and 3.26 touchdowns during his rookie campaign.
