D.J. Moore able to help Panthers' offense right away
Carolina Panthers first-round wide receiver D.J. Moore "can help the offense immediately," writes Max Henson of the team's official website.
What It Means:
Henson reiterated that Moore "looked more than ready to contribute during spring practices" and emphasized the receiver's "unique skill set" for his ability to make plays after the catch. The 21-year-old rookie should open the year as the Panthers' second starter opposite Devin Funchess, but he will still have to compete with Greg Olsen and Christian McCaffrey for targets.
