Earl Thomas would like to be traded if Seahawks don't offer contract extension
Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas want to be traded if the team does not sign him to a contract extension.
Thomas is on the last year of his deal, and stands to make $8.5 million in 2018. He has threatened a holdout for training camp, and is targeting $12 million per year for his next contract.
The Seahawks finished eighth in numberFire's Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric last year, but after already losing Richard Sherman, losing Thomas would be another big blow to their secondary.
