Doug Martin 'jumped out' during Raiders offseason program
Oakland Raiders running back Doug Martin "jumped out" during the offseason program, offensive coordinator Greg Olson said.
Olson specifically mentioned Martin's quickness and ability to pick up the offense but Marshawn Lynch is expected to remain the lead back in Oakland. Now 29 and entering his seventh year in the NFL, Martin has two 1,400-plus yard campaigns (2012, 2015) and four seasons with fewer than 500 rushing yards (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017).
Martin is the RB52 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models currently expect him to rush 130.8 times for 410.1 yards and 3.24 touchdowns, and to catch 17.2 passes for 158.5 receiving yards and 0.14 touchdowns.
