Odell Beckham will discuss contract with Giants 'pretty soon'
New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham will open contract negotiations with the team "pretty soon," owner John Mara said.
Beckham showed up to training camp on time without a new deal but it sounds like the two sides will make an effort to work something out before the start of the season. The 25-year-old wideout is currently due to make $8.459 million in the final year of his rookie deal.
numberFire's early models project Beckham to catch 99.0 passes (166.5 targets) for 1,351.1 yards and 9.16 touchdowns in 2018. He's essentially tied with DeAndre Hopkins as the 3rd-best wide receiver in our preseason fantasy rankings, falling behind only Antonio Brown and Julio Jones.
