Colts' Jordan Wilkins pushing for lead role

Indianapolis Colts rookie running back Jordan Wilkins has been excelling in training camp "since the pads went on," the Indianapolis Star reports.

What It Means:

Reporter Stephen Holder believes Wilkins is "going to give coaches lots to contemplate if he continues to have the same kind of production in preseason games." No roles in this backfield are cemented at all at this point, with a committee approach the most likely outcome.
