Vance McDonald listed as the starter on Steelers' depth chart
Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Vance McDonald was listed as the starting tight end on the team's first depth chart.
The move was not unexpected as McDonald went off in the postseason, racking up 10 catches for 112 yards in the Divisional Round. If he can stay healthy, McDonald will be a deep sleeper candidate in fantasy as he should see plenty of snaps as he is an exceptional run blocker as well as a pass catcher. Jesse James is listed as the second tight end followed by Xavier Grimble.
Our models conservatively project McDonald for 41.7 targets, 24.6 catches, 309.2 yards, and 2.8 touchdowns in 2018.
