Patriots' Sony Michel on track for Week 1 following procedure on knee
New England Patriots running back Sony Michel (knee) is expected to be ready for the start of the season following a procedure to drain fluid from his knee.
Michel hurt his knee in practice on Wednesday and will be sidelined at least 10 days following the procedure. The team expects the rookie back to be ready for the regular season, even if he sits out the preseason. With the lack of reps in training camp, Michel will have a harder time making an impact early in the season while Rex Burkhead gets a boost in fantasy value.
Our models project Michel for 139.1 touches, 645.0 total yards, and 4.7 touchdowns in 2018.
