Browns' Antonio Callaway cited for marijuana possession
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Antonio Callaway was cited for marijuana possession on Sunday morning.
Callaway was driving on a suspended license when police stopped him at 3 am Sunday morning for failure to yield. He was charged with a "minor misdemeanor" but is likely facing a suspension from the NFL due to the drug charge. The highly-talented wideout fell to the fourth round of this year's draft after failing a drug test at the NFL combine and sitting out the 2017 season at Florida due to off-the-field issues. With Josh Gordon still away from the team and the recent trade of Corey Coleman, the Browns' WR corp is frighteningly thin, especially with Callaway likely facing a suspension.
Our models have projected Callaway for 38.5 catches, 480.0 yards, and 3.0 touchdowns in 2018. A suspension will change our forecast.
