Colts' Deon Cain tears ACL, done for the season
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Deon Cain suffered a torn ACL in the preseason opener on Thursday and will miss the 2018 NFL Season.
Cain, a sixth-round rookie, was impressing coaches during training camp and had a chance to earn some playing time in an underwhelming Colts' receiving corp. The injury to Cain opens the door for Ryan Grant and Chester Rogers to solidify their roles as the No. 2 and 3 wideouts behind T.Y. Hilton in Indy.
Cain racked up 130 catches, 2,040 yards, and 20 touchdowns over three seasons at Clemson.
