Nick Vannett working with Seahawks' starters
Seattle Seahawks tight end Nick Vannett has been working with the starting offense in place of Ed Dickson (groin, active/NFI).
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says “it’s still a bit†before Dickson will be able to practice, so Vannett may wind up opening the season as the starter. The 2016 third-round pick caught a 5-yard touchdown from Russell Wilson in the preseason opener but he has just 15 total catches so far in his young NFL career.
numberFire's models project Vannett for 23.4 catches (31.2 targets), 193.9 receiving yards, and 2.57 touchdowns this season. He's the TE39 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
