49ers' Marquise Goodwin 'clearly' Jimmy Garoppolo's favorite target
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin is "clearly Jimmy Garoppolo's favorite target," writes ESPN's Nick Wagoner.
What It Means:
Pierre Garcon figures to see a comparable share of targets throughout the year, but Wagoner believes Goodwin will finish with more touchdowns and yards per catch. He had at least 60 receiving yards and/or a touchdown in 10 of 15 games last season.
numberFire's models currently project Goodwin to rack up 802.5 receiving yards and 5.46 touchdowns on 52.1 catches (106.1 targets) this season. He's the WR33 in our preseason fantasy rankings. Garcon is 31st.
