Seahawks' Rashaad Penny breaks finger, reportedly 'should be ready for Week 1'
Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny will undergo surgery for his broken finger and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks.
That puts his status in the air for Week 1, but sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter that Penny "should be ready" for the opener. Chris Carson remains at the top of the Seahawks' depth chart.
numberFire's models currently project Penny to gain 793.4 rushing yards and 250.3 receiving yards on 31.7 catches while scoring 7.16 touchdowns. He's the RB23 in our preseason rankings.
