Marqise Lee carted off Jaguars' exhibition with 'bad' knee injury

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Marqise Lee was carted off the field with a knee injury in the Saturday's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons.

What It Means:

Lee was taken out at his left knee by Damontae Kazee after making a catch in the first quarter. He appeared to be in significant pain and the cart was immediately brought out. "Obviously it looked bad," head coach Doug Marrone said. "Doctors told me, 'Hey listen, we're not going to be able to know anything until tomorrow, and we'll have more information tomorrow on it.'' Kazee was penalized on the play for lowering his helmet to initiate contact. Keelan Cole, Dede Westbrook, and second-round pick D.J. Chark all stand to benefit if Lee misses time.

Without yet taking the injury into account, Lee is currently the 41st wideout in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. He's pegged for 105.7 targets, 60.2 receptions, 815.8 yards, and 4.25 touchdowns this year.
