Saints' Austin Carr expected to start as slot receiver against Tampa
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Austin Carr will start in the slot for Week 1's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The Saints claimed the former undrafted free agent off waivers on Monday, and he slides into a role that was expected to belong to Cameron Meredith this season.
numberFire's models project Carr to notch 2.5 receptions for 31.4 yards and 0.2 touchdowns -- which would be good for 5.6 fantasy points. He is priced at the minimum salary ($4,500) on FanDuel for Week 1.
