Saints' Cameron Meredith's Week 1 scratch due to missed reps
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Cameron Meredith was a healthy inactive Week 1 due to missed reps in training camp, head coach Sean Payton said.
Payton said Meredith was fine health-wise but still needed to work on timing in the offense. It's not clear if he will dress against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2. Austin Carr drew the start in the slot for the opener.
Meredith currently falls outside the top-100 wideouts in numberFire's Week 2 fantasy rankings. Our models expect him to produce only 1.7 FanDuel points at a cost of $6,000.
