Marquise Goodwin (quad) will not play for the 49ers in Week 2
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquise Goodwin will not play in Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions.
What It Means:
This has been expected as Goodwin hasn't been able to practice all week after injuring his thigh during the Niners' Week 1 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Dante Pettis should see the biggest increase in opportunity with Goodwin off the field.
With his absence this week, we now project Goodwin to finish the season with 43.2 receptions for 667.0 yards and 4.6 touchdowns.
