Mike Wallace (ankle) reportedly to be on Eagles' sidelines for 'a while'
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mike Wallace (ankle) will be out for "a while," reports NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Wallace was carted off in the first quarter of the Eagles' Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It sounds like he may be placed on injured reserve, which would keep him out for eight games. Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) and Mack Hollins (groin, IR) are already on the shelf, so the Eagles are running thin at wideout ahead of a Week 3 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts.
Wallace has 3 targets and 0 catches to start his Eagles tenure.
