Cleveland Browns officially name Baker Mayfield their starting quarterback
Cleveland Browns coach Hue Jackson announced that rookie Baker Mayfield will take over as the team's starting quarterback.
The news is not all that surprising, given Mayfield's strong debut last Thursday and Tyrod Taylor's struggles leading up to that point. Mayfield entered Cleveland's win over the Jets in the second quarter place of Taylor and completed 17-of-23 passes for 201 yards and led a 14-point comeback. The Browns will travel to Oakland in Week 4.
Mayfield scored 9.8 FanDuel points last week in just over a half of action.
