Giovani Bernard solid despite Bengals' loss
Cincinnati Bengals running back Giovani Bernard ran for 61 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries and also caught 5 passes for 25 yards in a 31-21 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Bernard played a large role in the Bengals' offense in the absence of Joe Mixon. He had a team-high 9 targets and had 12 of the team's 13 rushing attempts (receiver Tyler Boyd had the other).
