Josh Rosen named Cardinals' new starting quarterback in place of Sam Bradford
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen will start at quarterback moving forward, head coach Steve Wilks announced Monday.
Rosen will replace Sam Bradford, who was benched late in the fourth quarter of the Cardinals' Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears on Sunday. He threw an interception that sealed the game for Chicago but showed some promise and should provide a boost to an offense that has been among the league's worst through the first three weeks of the season.
Rosen completed 4-of-7 passes for 36 yards and 1 interception, and added a 12-yard rush, in his first brief taste of real NFL action.
