San Francisco's Matt Breida diagnosed with a hyperextended knee
San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida suffered a hyperextended knee in Sunday's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Breida appeared to have suffered a more devasting injury as he fell in a non-contact play. He ultimately missed just one series and was able to finish the game with the knee injury. Breida is expected to be limited in practice -- if he participates at all -- and will be questionable at best to suit up in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Breida finished Week 3 with 69 rushing yards and 27 receiving yards (on 3 catches) for 11.1 FanDuel points.
