Vikings' Everson Griffen (knee) reportedly undergoing mental evaluation
Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Everson Griffen (knee) is undergoing a mental-health evaluation at a local hospital, reports Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Griffen has been "battling a serious, mental health-related issue for weeks," per Pelissero. This report comes after Griffen allegedly threatened to shoot someone at a Minneapolis hotel on Saturday. Griffen was inactive in Week 3 because of a knee injury.
Griffen has 6 tackles (4 solo), 1 sack, and 1 pass deflection this season. The Vikings D/ST is currently 26th in numberFire's Week 4 fantasy rankings for a daunting road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
